The charlotte Wind ensemble

A smaller musical group created from the same volunteer musicians entertains local audiences with outdoor performances and smaller inside venues around the county.  

conductor Steve Bell

 Conductor Steve Bell conducts the Symphonic Wind Ensemble starting in the 2024 – 2025 concert season. A graduate of Eastern Nazarene College and Boston University, Steve was a public school teacher in the Rockland Public School system in Rockland, MA. from 1974 – 2007.  He conducted various musical groups at Eastern Nazarene College from 2002 – 2023. Conducted the Sharon Concert Band in Sharon, MA from 2007 – 2023, and served as an adjudicator for various groups at Heritage Music Festivals in Boston and New York between 2013 and 2019.

He has played with the Symphonic Winds of Charlotte County since 2008.  His dedication to music education and community engagement has made a lasting impact on both our musicians and our audiences.

His goal for this group is to provide quality opportunities for audiences and musicians to enjoy the love of live music.
